South East Garage Doors fitted a Garador Georgian panelled garage door for a customer in Friston, East Sussex, before Christmas.
Our customers were delighted with the improved look and easy operation of their new door. They no longer had to dread fighting to open their former ancient garage door!
Once we had fitted the door, they asked me back to have a look at the gap under the door. As we have to fit the doors absolutely level, we cannot follow the fall of the ground. As you will see from the photo, the ground sloped right to left which meant there was a wider gap on the left. This was an easy problem to solve. We fitted a rubber strip to the back of the door to close the gap.
While we were chatting, they asked if we could also replace their side door too, but they wanted it to match. This was no problem! We sourced a new uPVC door and cladding in rosewood. This was fitted recently and really finishes off their home.
