Listed buildings come with stipulations about how the look of a property can be altered or updated, but as is often the case with listed home, their age means repairs or replacements are necessary to retain their use.
This property in Lewes, East Sussex, is grade-II listed and has a very specific look and feel, so when the owner contacted us about replacing their garage door, they were quick to mention any new door would have to be a very particular shade of green.
The green would match the existing paintwork and the house would need to blend in its neighbouring environment.
With a range of doors to choose from, the customer was able to select a colour that would complement their home and honour the restrictions placed on their grade-II listed homes to retain its authenticity.
