Not all driveways leading to a garage are on the flat. Depending on the location of your property, the driveway may be a steep or gentle climb or descent. The latter can cause issues with excess water.
In the example above, rain water was continually leaking into their garage despite the presence of the grill and drain in front of it.
We installed a Weather Stop garage seal to prevent the water from flooding in.
Weather Stop garage seal is made from a high quality, flexible and fully recyclable thermoplastic. Unlike rubber, it does not lose colour in extreme sunlight, carries no odour and does not become brittle in prolonged contact with water.
The seals are secured to the garage floor using specially developed adhesive and sealant. This provides a water-tight seal between the threshold and the floor. The thresholds can also be used as a defence against rodents, insects and reptiles!
These floor thresholds are suitable for use on all types of garage door and are available in numerous sizes to solve virtually any flooding problem.
