Roller garage door for carport conundrum

When I visited these customers in Hastings, they said I was the 22nd garage door firm or builder who had been to see them. The first 21 said they could not convert their carport into a garage with a roller door.

Six weeks later Woody and I arrived to do the job.

The complexity of the job was that the previous property owner had built a fairly ‘Heath Robinson’ lean-to on the side of the house. Nothing was straight. The walls were all built in different ways and both the floor and the head fascia sloped in different directions.

We used our building knowledge and experience in the trade to carefully construct a level timber framework around the existing opening ready for the roller door.
