Which garage doors should you choose?

Here at South East Garage Doors, we love working with these beautiful timber-framed buildings but they are never easy to fit a garage door into. Over the years, we have worked on many of these and now consider ourselves to be quite good at turning them into useful and secure garages.

Often when we visit customers, these spaces have become home to wildlife and easy pickings for those that steal our possessions. This is due to their open carport design. In today’s society we need to enclose these spaces, so they are secure and protected from the outside environment.

Roller garage door or sectional doors for carports?

Quite often people are surprised there is a door that works for these buildings as the angled timber supports in the corner of each frame mean a traditional door cannot move clearly through the openings. By using a roller door or a sectional door, these beautiful pieces of timber are left in full view. See a few of our latest examples above.
