Our advice pages and gallery are full of articles and photos of garage doors. I mean, that’s what our business is all about. However, in recent years, we have been asked to install front and side doors too. It’s definitely a growing requirement for South East Garage Doors customers.

Additionally, we have been asked to install side doors for garages. Often an overlooked entrance, as our photo clearly illustrates, old doors leave garages feeling drafty and cold, even if they have an insulated garage door.

In this example, the door was made from wood so suffered from the seasonal problems of swelling and getting stuck in the door frame. A door that cannot be opened is unhelpful!

Our customer asked us to install a replacement and he chose Hörmann’s NT60 insulated S-ribbed in fir green (RAL 6009). It’s 42mm thick, with foam filled insulation, so this new side door helps seal the garage to keep it warm and dry.
