The more glamorous – (is that even possible in the garage door industry?) – side of our work is probably coming up with innovative solutions to our customers’ garage door needs.
We may turn two openings into one for a double garage door or replace rusty garage doors with nice, new weather-proof ones or transform existing garage doors into electrically operated ones, but actually what gives us more satisfaction is repairing an existing garage door.
We live in a throwaway society; a far cry from the make-do-and-mend post-war era, but there is a lot to be said for checking whether a garage door can be fixed or not before heading to the tip.
Sure, there are unsalvageable issues, but if your garage door is a bit wonky or your spring or cable has broken, these are things can be fixed. The same is true of a stiff door or one that won’t close properly, broken locks, problems with electronically-operated doors, broken fobs and so on.
It is always worth checking if a repair is possible first.
My team of qualified engineers repair up-and-over, sectional, roller and side-opening garage doors in all shapes and sizes. Believe me, we have seen every garage door problem there is to see!
And never think a job is too small. Our fully equipped vans are on the road all week and are ready to repair garage doors, usually on the same day as the enquiry.
A phone call to us could save you hundreds of pounds when all you needed was a fix rather than a new garage door.
