Customers often want timber doors to complement their home, especially if it is a period property, or they just prefer the look of wood.
The problem with wood is that it does not last, and timber garage doors are not as secure and insulated as the modern alternatives.
We try to suggest doors that are made from GRP (glass reinforced polyester) so the customer can benefit from better security, insulation and reduced maintenance. Aside from cleaning them from time to time, they will never need to varnish or paint them. They will look at good as new for many years to come.
These doors are also foiled wrapped to give them a wood-grain finish, so they look authentic. We think the result is very smart.
