When neighbours come together to agree on replacement garage doors for their garage area, the result can be quite striking.
Seven homeowners living in Willingdon, near Eastbourne, East Sussex, decided to replace their rotting, side-opening wooden garage doors with maintenance-free new ones.
They chose the good value, up-and-over canopy Ilkley from Hörmann’s 2000 Series. Made from steel, this door matched the style of their old doors by giving the appearance of side-opening timber doors care of the two sets of small-paned windows and vertical tongue and groove design.
This door is galvanised with a high-quality polyester powder coating and comes protected against adverse weather conditions and corrosion to maintain the long-term beauty of the door.
The finished result gave the neighbourhood a pleasing upgrade.
