In this advice article, we will look at how two models from one garage door manufacturer suited the needs of three separate properties.
Both are sectional doors but they are very different in terms of their appearance.
In our first example, our client needed extra tall garage doors to suit the dimensions of their large home in Brighton. People often think one size fits all for garage doors, but we can source them in a range of widths and heights.
The dark wood panelled design was in keeping with the Tudor style of our client’s home too.
Meanwhile, in Crawley and Uckfield, we have recently fitted the new Hörmann D-Ribbed design in anthracite for two clients. This garage door provides a completely different look and will give a modern twist to any property. We think they look very smart.
Both doors though work in the same way in providing excellent insulation and security. They are both automated so they can be easily opened with a remote control…which is a good thing for the extra tall doors, as they would be heavy to lift! Made out GRP, they are easy to maintain and as sectional doors that retract into roof space, they create more usable space on the driveway too, unlike canopy doors.
We install more Hörmann garage doors than any other brand. It is a quality product with a lot of choice of styles and colours, which goes down well with our clients. Please contact me if either of these styles appeals to you.
