Two garage doors to one to make room for wider cars

We recently completed another garage door conversion, turning two openings into one.

With modern-day cars becoming increasingly wider, we just cannot get our cars into the garages without the risk of damaging them.

You can see from the before photo how narrow the garage door openings are. Look at the difference after we finished.

This work was carried out by myself with my team of four installers. All the building and installation work was done ‘in house’.

We installed the steel in the morning and the garage door – a Hörmann L-ribbed sectional in Duragrain walnut terra in the afternoon…and then tidied up!
