We were asked to team up with by a local building firm to create something special for this customer in Battle, East Sussex.
The existing garages had been knocked down and rebuilt. They were then clad in timber and painted in a sympathetic grey.
We then supplied and fitted two Hörmann sectional garage doors. The specification was M-Ribbed in anthracite grey (RAL 7016).
You will notice that in the middle of the top third of the garage door, there is a small silver-coloured security lock. This can be used to manually release the door from the electric opening motor. If there is ever a power failure, the customer can simply open the lock cover and pull a cable to open the door.
These garage doors not only look great but are secure, but not so secure that owners cannot open them if there is a power failure!
