Trust in sectional garage doors…even manual ones

Hörmann has been making garage doors since time began!

One of their most popular garage doors here at South East Garage Doors is the sectional door. It surprises me how many people have still not heard about these doors and are aware of their existence. In Europe, they are the most common door. Their benefits far outweigh the simple canopy/up & over garage doors most of us have in the UK.

• They seal all the way around on rubber, so no leaves or debris can blow in
• No moisture or damp can get in either
• They open vertically rather than swinging outwards so the drive space is maintained
• They come in a range of designs, finishes and colours.
• They are 42mm thick and insulated so they are very secure and keep the garage warm, like a front door to your house

In this example, we fitted a Hörmann M-ribbed design in white woodgrain. This is the most economical way to go for the price point. Our customer also chose a manual operation rather than automated. Although, at any point in the future this door can easily be automated.
