Side-hinged garage doors from Garador
We have fitted a lot of Garador’s new side-hinged garage door range since their launch. They really are streets ahead of the other manufacturers in their design, robustness and quality. In our opinion they are the best side opening doors on the market. Of course they come at a slightly higher cost, but it is worth it.
We are free to fit whichever manufacturer we choose…and we do. Initially, all doors look good, but the test comes with time in use and how the doors weather and last.
To be honest, there are other manufacturers out there who keep the repair side of our business going, but I don’t remember the last time we had a call to visit a set of Garador side-openers for repair.
Replacement Garador side-opening doors
We fitted these doors in East Hoathly beneath a semi-circular window. They are the Carlton design with a GRP woodgrain panel. Our customer chose the very popular anthracite grey RAL 7016.
The doors close onto a steel frame, with a rubber seal all the way around, including a floor threshold. They even took the option of having a chrome handle fitted.
