Revisit for a service

We carried out this conversion – from two single doors into one double door – back in February 2018. I went back yesterday to carry out a service.

We send out letters to all our customers after about two years to offer them the opportunity to have their garage door serviced.

I went over the whole door, checking all the fixings and tightening where necessary, and lubricating all moving parts. As the door is automated, I manually released it and tested it for how well it moved too. On this one, I needed to add some more spring tension.

I was also able to advise the customer on giving the outside of the door a wash down every now and again to prevent weather damage.

It was great to see one of our installations two years down the line and to hear that they are still delighted with the work carried out by South East Garage Doors.
