Websites are littered with logos to mark affiliations and memberships these days, but we believe the Checkatrade stamp of approval is well worth shouting about.
For a business like South East Garage Doors, reputation is everything. Sure, people will call us if they see an advert or one of our vans, but word of mouth is always a more sought after commodity. People will only recommend you if they liked your work.
Checkatrade sits between the two. It works as an advertisement but one that comes with recommendations; not least, from Checkatrade themselves.
Checkatrade runs strict background checks on all its tradespeople before they can become members. Once they join, members promise to meet The Checkatrade Standard and agree to have feedback from their customers put online for all to see.
No other directory of tradespeople uses this model. The background checks and public feedback ensure that only reliable and trusted tradespeople get work through Checkatrade.
They make sure that customers can find someone outstanding to get the job done.
In tandem with our Checkatrade membership, we have also been approved by East Sussex County Council’s Trading Standards. South East Garage Doors works outside of East Sussex, in Kent and West Sussex too, but our headquarters are in the county, so our accreditation was issued locally. This will also serve to prove to potential customers that we are a business they can trust.
We have recently displayed both logos on our website with a real sense of pride.
We have already published plenty of comments our customers have been kind enough to share with us, but the approval of these two official bodies are a pleasing addition.
