Garage door access solution
When you have a big garage door and you don’t want to keep opening and closing it just to go in and out, be it for the wheelie bins, to take your bike out for a spin, to grab a few gardening tools, for the kids to grab the toys they want to play with that day…or simply as an easier way to enter or exit your house. Don’t worry, we have a solution.

One of Hörmann’s sectional door range
The garage door the customer chose for this project is a M-ribbed white woodgrain design from Hörmann. Have a look at their full sectional door range here.
One thing to note is that this range has 42mm of insulation and seals against rubber on all four sides. This super-tight combination keeps out those draughts, leaves, and rain.
The magic here though is that when the door is closed, the side-opening pedestrian door can be unlocked by a key from the inside or outside and then used as a normal pedestrian door. The lifestyle of modern domesticity has developed into utilising the garage door as a secondary entrance into a mews style property, for instance, or to access the room that lies behind, such a gym, office or playroom,. which is why the insulation is so important.
