What sort of Harry Potter wizardry is this, I hear you ask?

Hörmann makes an insulated, fully sealed, sectional garage door that opens and closes on a track system. It rises vertically so nothing swings out into the driveway. This is ideal if you need to park your car close to the door and still need to open the garage door.

But, as you can see from the photos, they can also include a pedestrian, or wicket, door that can be opened and closed when the garage door is shut. This door also seals properly like your front door.

I have no idea of the magic involved as to why when you open the door, the sections do not just fall into pieces on the floor, but they don’t…and it works brilliantly.

They are expensive, but worth every penny if you want to regularly access your garage without opening the larger door. It’s still a really smart looking garage door too.
