When we installed this door a year ago, it was on a building site. We had been called in to install four doors like this for a development in Hastings.
The developers choose Hörmann L-ribbed sectional garage doors in anthracite. The ‘L’ of L-ribbed stands for large. Hörmann sectional doors also come in M and S. I am sure you can guess what they stand for! The L-ribbed is very popular and offers a modern look to any property…especially a brand-new one.
But why are Hörmann door so popular with developers?
Hörmann’s sectional garage door range offers the very highest levels of security, insulation, safety and style. The range of superb styles are all available in a multitude of finishes and colours in either manual or remote control electric operation. Standard doors sizes range from 2000mm wide up to 6000mm wide. Heights are available up to 3000mm high.
With these varied dimensions on offer, these sectional garage doors fit almost anywhere and save precious space care of their vertical opening operation and suspension under the ceiling. This leaves a lot of free space in front and immediately behind the door panels. They also offer additional passage width to make driving in and out of the garage a little easier.
Flexible and weather-resistant seals on all four sides of Hörmann’s sectional doors protect garages from both the wind and rain, while their superior construction and locking system provides excellent security.
It was pleasing to come back to this site a year later and see the doors in their lived-in smart surroundings. We often work with developers to put the finishing touches to the garages they have built. See an previous example here: Finishing touches to new-build estate
