This self-build project in Hastings was nearing its end when South East Garage Doors were called in to fit seven matching garage doors.
The developers wanted a modern look to match the overall image of the homes they had built. They opted for Hörmann M-ribbed sectional garage doors in anthracite – RAL 7016.
All seven doors are fully automated for easy access and are super secure and insulated.
As referenced in our most recent blogs – Happy return to building site and Matching existing doors with new garage doors – Hörmann’s sectional models open vertically upwards and are suspended under the ceiling to save space. They can be fitted in every garage door opening and offer up to 14cm more passage width than up-and-over doors so cars can be driven in and out more easily. Flexible and weather-resistant seals on all four sides of these doors ensure that they are optimally insulated.
Uninvited guests barely stand a chance. When the garage door is closed, the anti-lift kit automatically engages in the operator boom’s stop, then locks immediately and is secured against forced opening. This patented door latching functions purely mechanically and continues to secure the door even when the power fails.
The garage doors we installed finished off this pleasing building project to a smart effect…and, with the correct care, will last the new homeowners for many years to come.
