Upgrading all the doors
We are quite often asked for a garage door and front door replacement…in many cases we do the front door AND the garage door. For this harbour property in Eastbourne, we fitted a new composite front door with a store room door next to it, as well as a set of insulated side-opening garage doors from Ryterna.
Ryterna’s side-opening, or side-hinged, doors combine traditional appearance and modern design. With no tracks, rollers, cables, or mechanisms, side-hinged garage doors are connected to the frame via hinges. Ryterna make modern side-hinged garage doors with a traditional 1960s appearance through to contemporary doors to fit a modern architectural setting.
The old bin store and the front door were the originals from when the house was built and were well past their best. The old garage door was again the original and offered no insulation or style. The old garage door also wouldn’t open properly and was getting dangerous.
Our customer took a long time deciding the detail of each door and the finished result, as you can see above, has not only improved the kerb view of their property but also added value for any future sale and has improved the security and insulation.
Home improvement rather than moving house
With the economic and political climate as it is, many homeowners are seeking to upgrade their properties rather than move.
Why put up with the draughty sticking front door? Why dread going to the garage to get something out?
The home improvement market is very competitive at the moment and homeowners should look to take advantage of keen pricing and upgrade their homes.
