The pictures really tell the story of this installation. As you can see here (right), the lead up to the entrance of this couple’s house was somewhat tunnel-like.
I thought it was crying out for the front door to be moved up to the front, so the space behind could be utilised.
And that’s exactly what we did! We supplied and installed a set of insulated, side-opening doors from Ryterna (see above).
In fact, the customers designed the doors themselves and Ryterna fulfilled their request. I think the property has been transformed with this new, modern entrance.
With the doors measuring 42mm in depth, the insulation and all-round seal means the space behind the front door is infinitely more usable too as it is now secure and warm.
I love projects like this, where a bit of smart thinking and imagination completely changes the look and feel of a property while being practical too.
