People tend to think a garage door comes in a standard height but in a range of widths. In fact, garage doors come in a range of heights too…which was fortunate for one of our recent customers who wanted to add one to a beautiful former coach house in South Chailey.
The coach house had two openings which left anything stored inside it completely exposed to the elements. The elements were particularly unforgiving in this location as it was constantly battered by weather rolling off the South Downs. As a result, the owners’ car was usually filthy.
Having undertaken a site survey, we were able to order a sectional garage doors to perfectly fit the two openings of the coach house. An average garage door is 7ft tall; these were 8ft 6ins tall. The customers were delighted as they did not think they could get any doors that would fit.
